0.0.0.0 collection server for about 3-4 Wu's straight

It seems that a lot of GPU problems revolve around specific versions of drivers. Though AMD has their own support structure, you can often learn from information reported by others who fold.

0.0.0.0 collection server for about 3-4 Wu's straight

Hello, i have been getting the 0.0.0.0 collection server for about 3-4 Wu's straight (Roughly 4 days and 4 hours worth of time).

I Installed it using a guide on Jiggmins folding teams section of the forum on jiggmins website (I know i can't posts links after i tried to post with a link) and after looking at the end of jiggmins post i clicked on the link for the GPU folding; then followed the steps and it worked for about a week with maybe 1 wu that had the collection server of 0.0.0.0.

Specs:
- AMD A6-3650 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 2.60 GHz
- 7.49 GB usable Ram
- 64 bit os
- Not sure on what type of GPU but i can assume some one can find that out from the install guide.

Which part of it are you looking for? Mine is over the cap of allowed characters.

What you supplied, while being very useful background information, does not show any attempt at the sending of any WU to any server which is your issue.

Incidentally, You may find that SMP:3 would produce more points than SMP:2 on your quad core processor. To my knowledge WU's do not have an issue with SMP:3 so it should be safe even though it is not even.

If your topic refers to: 13:14:28:Server connection id=1 on 0.0.0.0:36330 from 127.0.0.1 it has nothing to do with a collection server. It is the connection between FAHControl and FAHClient.

I would change that next-unit-percentage to 99 or 100 but other than that it looks good. Using 95 you're downloading the next SMP WU over an hour before it's actually getting processed which will delay the project and lessen your bonus points.

I have been getting points to these Wu's that are going to the 0.0.0.0 server which is odd to me. Is that suppose to happen?

EDIT:

Ok, so what it says in the expert view for the collection server isn't the real collection server.

The WU is returned to the work server that it came from. Some projects do have an alternate collection server in case there's a problem with the work server, but others may not have a collection server set and they show 0.0.0.0 in the GUI but rest assured your work units are returning to the work server.
