Ati Radeon HD 6500 says "Update Core"....

It seems that a lot of GPU problems revolve around specific versions of drivers. Though AMD has their own support structure, you can often learn from information reported by others who fold.

I have no idea. How would I find that? This PC is about 6 months old.

Not the driver exactly, the OpenCL support library that is an option to be installed with the driver. OpenCL is needed by the folding core to process the GPU work units. The latest version of the Catalyst driver known to work well is 12.8. There is a link in this post to some directions for getting the driver and OpenCL support installed. Another post here lays outs the instructions in a step by step manner.

Yes, you're missing a driver. OpenCL is delivered with the ATI drivers. Updating your drivers may take care of this issue.

ATI has had some trouble providing good drivers. The latest may not be the best. You'll find several reports related to this issue along with things various people have tried.
