core 16 crashes

It seems that a lot of GPU problems revolve around specific versions of drivers. Though AMD has their own support structure, you can often learn from information reported by others who fold.

On correction, Core_16 does use OpenCL. It was restricted to 5000 series and higher cards as the version of OpenCL supported on 4000 series cards was too old. However the core was based on the OpenMM code like Core_15. Core_17 is a total rewrite. From the Technical details for Project 11292:
This project uses the OPENMM_OPENCL FAH core software and is hosted by Folding@home server 171.67.108.44.

yeah the main problem was that my core 16 almost instantly crashed when launched, but it was because i had the Intel OpenCL cpu package installed
gaming + folding on core 16 is not crashing my pc (and when i play Eve in isk/monet making mode my graphics arent that important :P)
gaming/vlc + core 17 seemed to made things crash, but i'm waiting to get a new core 17 wu to see what happens because my intel opencl uninstall..

For the drivers, i would stay away from 13.4 since it makes the FAHbench software crash, no problem on 13.8b2 and 12.8
