I think this issue happens when you have Relive on. It also cause huge performance hit if Relive is turned on when you are doing folding. When I had it turned on, I was getting under 400k and now when it's turned off I'm getting like 600k

I'm having trouble finding in-depth information about ReLive. but turning it on is expected to reduce gaming performance while providing the added benefit of storing game information. It's unrealistic that it would improve FAH performance -- in fact we can be quite certain that it will REDUCE FAH performance. Turn it off!

If you know what nvidia shadowplay is, well Relive is similar. GPU accelerated video capturing/encoding, meaning that you can record/stream your gaming session with very little performance loss when you are doing recording.

What I mean by Relive enabled is that it's enabled from AMD control panel so that you can start capturing/streaming with keyboard shortcut. When it's enabled, it should have no impact to folding at all unless you start capturing your desktop what I am not doing.

Anyway we know now what cause this issue, it's something what AMD needs to resolve.

Yes, I got that, but if you're using the GPU for FAH, using Open_Comute_Language, there is computing going on but there's no graphics to encode. It's not any documented indication of what ReLive is doing -- nor is there any clear concept that can make it useful to FAH.

Remember, we are a FAH support site; not a game support site. Just what do you expect either shadowplay or ReLive to do for FAH?
If FAH works better with ReLive turned off, then turn it off.

(The settings for the optimum performance for FAH are likely to be different than the optimum performance for your game ... and few people successfully run FAH and a game concurrently.)

Thing is that I do use this system also for gaming and want to record stuff when I game. There is clearly something broken on drivers because when Relive is on it start to do something when computing task is running what it should not do.
If I play games it doesn't matter if Relive is off or on, performance is same. Only if I start recording, then there will be small performance hit but nothing like I see when I do folding and when I haven't even start any recording.

So if drivers was working as they should be working, it should not matter if Relive is on or off.

Well, If you PAUSE the GPU slot(s), the component(s) of FAH which use the GPU are terminated so they're no longer using any of the GPU resources. If you're still seeing the GPU(s) doing something, it's not FAH ... so it must be the drivers or something else on your system.

Game I play is not very GPU demanding, so there is no reason to stop folding, I can fold and play game same time just fine. Even more demanding game like Shadow of Mordor is playing nice same time when I fold, neighter get almost no performance hit.
Interesting is that now that windows have in task manager also GPU monitoring available, you can see folding workload when you select one of the graphs show "compute 2" and it's stays at 90% load no matter if I have game running or not.

Anyway only issue was when ReLive was enabled and with laters drivers that issue is now fixed.
