Radeon R9 285

Post by Ronwell_Q._Dobbs »

Please forgive if I didn't do this correctly. I am trying to get my R9 285 recognized. I want to get that thing cooking. It's getting cold up here at night.

Looks recognized to me on that last line. What makes you think it's not recognized?

Just doing a quick check and I was able to see that there is no entry for 0x1002:0x6939 in the most recent GPUs.txt file on the download site - https://fah-web.stanford.edu/file-relea ... c/GPUs.txt. So the lspci output does name the card, but there is no entry in the file for it to be recognized as whitelisted.

Edit: GPUs.txt file updated - viewtopic.php?f=83&t=24249&p=268761#p268761
