Welcome to the folding forum.

Your card is already in the current GPUs.txt file and is whitelisted for folding. However there is a known problem with the Linux client where it does not download the current updated file and therefore will not recognize GPU's released since this version of the client was released.

To verify if GPUs.txt has been downloaded, navigate to your /var/lib/fahclient directory and see if GPUs.txt is present. If not, sometimes restarting the FAHClient process is enough to get it to download the current version of the file. Otherwise you can download the most recent version from the link mentioned in this topic - viewtopic.php?f=83&t=26208. After moving it to the directory and giving it the same ownership, restart the client and you should be able to add a GPU slot.

Note the GPU = false in the posted log! How did that happen? Is that from the installer and/or a user selection, or because the GPUs.txt didn't download? Chicken or Egg?
