Add Radeon Pro WX 4100 to list

Post by MikeF »

Hello.
I would like to have AMD Radeon Pro WX4100 added to the whitelist. I have searched around for instructions, but cannot find any. I have figured out that you need information from GPU-z which I am including. I believe I am in the correct place. Any help is appreciated.

You came to the right place.

There seem to be a lot of products based on the Polaris 11 chip, though I'm not familiar with all of the details. I have assumed that your device ID is 1002 67E3. I'm not sure what the 1002 0B0D ID refers to.

Maybe if you run FAHClient --lspci or another source of lspci information on you're system we can figure it out.

Hi Bruce.
Thank you for the response. I know hardware fairly well, but am pretty much a noobie regarding software. I am pretty good at following directions, though. What is "lspci" and how do I gather its information? Is that command line internal to FAH or through Windows? In my directory for F@H, FAHClient is a folder. Subdirectories are: About folding@Home; Data Directory; FAHControl; FAHViewer; Folding@home; and Web Control.

The lspci function originated in Linux but has been ported to Windows as well as a browser scripting language. It's function is similar to part of GPU-Z... namely to list the devices attached to the PCI bus. It's output looks a lot like the data in GPUs.txt except that it describes YOUR hardware. Yes, it's built into FAHClient, but you can also search the web for an app that does the same thing.

It will list lots of devices, not just your GPUs, so you have to search through the output and find the applicable lines.

Precisely.

0x1002:0x67e3 was added a couple of days ago but you may need to refresh your cache and convince FAH to download a fresh copy of GPUs.txt.
