I did the directory delete thing.....still waiting for action. Processing WCG tasks in the meantime......this fix depends too heavily on us poor donors, Stanford Folks! :( :?:

Rattledagger: That's useful feedback, but the AMD issue is separate and different. Could you post issues for that in the other thread
viewtopic.php?f=85&t=23185

mod edit: post has been moved to ATI thread

Others: Anyone with the NV issue have any new feedback for us?

On my gtx260 problem still exists. Here's the URL you asked for:
Code: Select all
Downloading core from http://www.stanford.edu/~pande/Win32/x86/NVIDIA/G80/Core_15.fah

thanks. could you elaborate on which problem you're still seeing – are you getting the core_outdated error?

Yes, I'm still getting this core_outdated error and it tries to update all the time.

Both GeForce 9800 GTXs running fine. 17 minutes and 19'37" per frame. That's a generous PPD if it completes.

Thanks!

I've just ran memtestG80 on my 9800GT with 768MiB, and it finds no errors, yet this new core keeps erroring with 'GPU_MEMTEST_ERROR (124 = 0x7c)' regardless of deleting the work unit and even GPU core.

No one else having this problem?

It looks that you have solved this issue. My client downloaded core_15 successfully and is now working on project 8072. I will let you know if I encounter any other problems.

The new core is a bit more strict with its testing. Are you overclocking your card perhaps? Note that the memory error is unrelated to the previous core_outdated loop, other than the fact that the new core is a bit more strict about checking for cards with possible memory issues.
