But, it does seems that my computer here is 64bit capable. I hope next weeks I can try FatDog on it :-)

By, now, the folding calculation are really stable using the 1 Slot, 1 CPU, -np 3 strategy :)

Some projects are well-suited for a single CPU; most are not. Depending on the needs of science, there have been times when there's a shortage of WUs for uniprocessors. That may happen again.

If you fold enough hours per day to meet the deadlines and have an installation that can handle assignments for SMP:3 (in V6) or CPU:3 (in V7) you won't have a problem with the shortage. If your system and/or your folding pattern cannot handle those WUs, then completing uniprocessor WUs is a good plan.
