Notebook Paused: on battery

Postby user51 » Wed Sep 14, 2016 3:32 am

I just installed the client on a Window 10 Pro notebook. I have the notebook plugged into AC and battery has a 100% charge. The client will not run and I get a message: Paused:on battery. I can find no setting to start the client. Anyone have any ideas about this problem?
Notebook details:
Compaq Presario CQ61
64 Bit
AMD Dual Core 2.1 GHz
6 GB RAM

Thanks,

You can set an FAhClient option to also fold when on battery. But this would be only a workaround as your notebook is plugged in AC. Can you see at Windows battery stats if Windows recognizes the AC plug?

Thanks for your reply. I couldn't find anywhere in Windows 10 Pro whether or not it recognizes the power on AC. Generally on a notebook it will indicate it is charging if below 100% charge but that is the only indication I know of.
I did find in settings where I could uncheck the stop folding on battery option and the client is now running. I think that solved my problem.
Thanks
