Uninstilling and reinstalling

Postby crimsonking » Tue May 29, 2018 5:02 am

So, F@H kept crashing, so I tried uninstalling it to reinstall it, but every time I tried to uninstall, it said the file FAHClient was in use, and I couldn't uninstall, even with my browser closed. What should I do?

We know so little about your computer (is it Windows, Linux or MacOSX? if so what version?) that my best guess is to reboot, then try to uninstall after.

Presumably you're talking about a Windows system. (If that's not true, please correct me.)

Uninstalling is not necessary. When you install the client, the first thing it does is stop all active components. Then it installs the new version, overwriting older components. In (almost) all cases, the uninstall takes place without you even noticing.

If you want better support, please post additional information according to the instructions below.
