0xc0000029 indicates Windows intercepted some kind of error, most likely hardware. Check Windows event log.

Check for overheating or unstable overclocking.

Nobody has returned Project: 8704 (Run 342, Clone 7, Gen 0) yet so there's no good way to tell if it's a bad WU yet.

No signs of overheating and I am not overclocking my CPU/GPU.

The Windows event log didn't have anything additional that would indicate a larger problem.

I've since deleted the work folder and have been able to complete other WUs.

Two donors have returned this WU. First and error was reported (probably by you). It was reissued and successfully completed.
