Ah, alright. My main issues is HOW to install it to different directories. Stupid question, I guess. I've never had to do it before.

The installer. You choose the directory to install at. If it's ran again though, you no longer have the option to install it, just repair and uninstall. Thus, i can't install it to multiple directories for multiclienting.

Use the Console client for multiple installations. While multiple systray installations may work for some, they are usually problematic. No installer; just copy the executable into each directory, run the configuration, set the Machine IDs.

As jrweis said, and as the guide I linked to also states, you should use the console client :)

There is a guide for installing multiple GPU Systray clients on the Guides page at the project web site. Follow the same procedures for duplicating the directories, creating shortcuts, etc. But you'll have to adjust your install slightly to change the naming for using the CPU client instead.

That's a good setup, just don't run any of the console's as service as it can get messy running service and gui clients at the same time. If you want to run everything out of sight then replacing the one systray client with another console would allow to install them as service.

Since the GUI client is pretty much already out of sight (except for a little icon in the systray), you could run the three consoles as services and automatically start the GUI at logon by copying the Folding@Home shortcut in the Folding@Home start menu folder to the Startup start menu folder.

If your computer has multiple users, then having four consoles set up as services would be a good idea.

No DanGe as GUI and console mode in service is officially not recommended to mix which is what I said before?
