Forum software upgrade

Post by uncle_fungus »

I've upgraded our forum software to the latest and greatest release, and added a few new usability options for you
  • Fixes to original themes, and rename prosilver to ProBlue
  • Added 3 new themes
The forum now automatically enforces our policy of only 1 sig per user per page.

View New Posts should be the left most of the links on the right hand side. Sorry, forgot to mention which color scheme, one of the 2% subsilver users.

Having the quick links in the header on the 3 new color schemes would be helpful. Thanks.

At some point I'll try and get them added in. They might take a bit more work to integrate correctly.

The view new post function seems to be somewhat broken, it doesn't clear any read posts - even after not visiting the site for several hours.

According to the counter there are 205 new posts since i visited at 10.20pm last night, however i have been on here this morning and this evening

Second that. I see 156 new post, and IIRC, in the past I've rarely seen more than 20. However, the mobile version of this forum is working fine in this aspect.
F@h is now the top computing platform on the planet and nothing unites people like a dedicated fight against a common enemy. This virus affects all of us. Lets end it together.

Yes, I've noticed that too. I'll see if I can fix it at some point tomorrow.

Read the active threads, then mark all threads read and start over. Count probably got reset during the upgrade. No biggie.

That appears to work. I had to logout and then back in again though.

I've resynchronised some stats tables for the database, lets see if that has any effect.

Not related to software upgrade, but related to changes at same time.

For consistency... •• Other: • Tools • WIKI • Stanford time: 2012-08-09 14:21:21 •• ... if there is room.

I'm also one of the subsilver2 users too. I found that I like it overall better than other themes.
