Nothing that I can see. The config looks to be totally normal. You didn't show any frames being done, so I can't see frame-times and manually calculate a real ETA. Sometimes the v7 client can give unrealistic ETA's.

Since this is a notebook, the first thing I would look at is to make sure that the machine isn't powering down when unattended.

independant to your specific issue, I'd also set pause-on-battery to be true. You really don't want an accident with the power cord to kill your battery.

Any chance you are running multiple copies or multiple versions of the client? 6.x and a 7.x? Linux, top will tell you; windows [ctrl][shift][esc] will tell you.

Geeze the core2duo I just shut down only took 4-5 days a WU.

First of all, setting <verbosity v='5'/> is not recommended. It won't hurt anything but it also doesn't do anything useful except to make the log take up more space. In V6, increasing verbosity was useful but in V7 I've never been able to use the increased verbosity to debug anything.

Second, as you've already heard, the current V7.1.52 has several open tickets associated with ETA and TPF.

ETA projections take time to develop. Suppose you try to calculate the TPF by comparing the time 02:36:56: when the WU had Completed 2800001 out of 10000000 steps (28%) with some other time when it reached, say (27%). Since the client was not processing during that time, it will not be reasonable to us that time difference to project when an additional 72% will be completed. After the client reaches 29%, perhaps it will be fair to assume that that 1% will be reasonably typical and the ETA can be projected to be 72x as long.

TPF and ETA projections have been improved several times in earlier versions, and there's still work to be done that will appear in future versions before the V7 client is deemed "released"

It looks like it completed in a normal amount of time from 28%, so the ETA was obviously off.

Your WU (P10085 R3 C247 G10) was added to the stats database on 2012-09-05 17:07:36 for 696.3 points of credit.

But the elapsed time is listed as 7.43 days. Was your machine down for a while? The other possibility is that it was assigned to you earlier, but something happened to cause the WU not to run and it was assigned to you again later.

Thanks for the help. It's back running fine now (current log below) and finished the WU while I was at work today. The original problem started after I had re-configured the CPU usage from 80% to 100% on Moday 9-3, but I've run FAH v7 @ 100% on this machine before and only changed it to 80% 2 months ago in order for my uncle to use thyis machine for a while.
The reason I didn't post a log with frames in progress is because I reset the verbosity the 5 rather than 3, in order to give best details for troubleshooting. I forgot to save the logfile before re-setting that configuration. Sorry about that.

The reason I have the 'pause on battery' set to no is because we have power outages around this area often that usually only last for 1-10 minutes. I have the machine power options set to shut down the machine in battery mode @ 45 minutes in order to keep from "killing" the battery.
