PS3 Servers in Rejct - 171.64.65.73, 83, 96

Post by rjbelans »

I'm not sure if it has to do with PS3 folding coming to an end, but a couple of donors were asking because they are no longer getting work on their PS3s.

171.64.65.83 is especially confusing as it has over 350,000 units ready to send out.

I started a WU a day or 2 ago but I could no longer upload it to the servers. I guess it's the end :(

These 3 PS3 work servers are again in Reject mode, but PS3 work server 171.64.122.73 is Accepting, as is the PS3 assignment server 171.67.108.202 (both display "OK" when connected to on port 80 from a Web browser). Why is my PS3 FAH client (not updated to the disabled version, thus still working) not able to download a new work unit and upload its finished work unit, then? All the troubleshooting steps in the "Do This First" topic depend on the FAH log file, but I don't believe the PS3 client keeps a log file, so I have no further data to go on other than my continuing failure to connect and the server status page. My PS3 stands ready to help out with the 31,000 waiting work units on 171.64.122.73, but what's holding things up?

171.64.122.73 may be listed as "accepting", but the numbers in the WU available, etc. column have not changed in weeks. It is my understanding that no more PS3 work is being sent out.

Dang, does anyone need an overworked 40M PS3? It has slaved night and day for 25 months but is otherwise unused. It might make a good space heater(:-}>~~~~

I sold mine a few months back, maybe you can still get something for it?

I forget, which ones had full support for running the older PS1 and PS2 games :?: One of those would be worth something. The ex got the one I used to play on, never managed to get a replacement. :(
