I am going to attempt to use the Chrome folding app for a bit and see how that goes. Can you tell me, please, if the WU done in the last few weeks have been over the 80%? Also, approximately how many good WU do I need to get overall to 80%?

PM has been sent with the information on number of WU's needed. There is no information from the inquiries available to moderators as to the success rate over the last few weeks, you would need to examine your log files to see if all WU's downloaded were returned within the preferred deadline.

I appreciate the information provided. The Chrome units appear to be about 3m each. Should get 'caught' up in about 7h or so. Can I get point/time information on these Chrome units?

The Base Points is 10, Timeout is ~2.5 Hours and the Deadline is ~24 hours after the initial assignment.

If you want to get the PRCG of the WU, you will need to open up the Developer's Tool (F12 Key) and select Console. Once there, you can scroll and find lots of information.

Okay, so the first 2 sets of updates have posted (after the major pruning, which I figure will update the rest in due time, no worries there). I show the 12a time period as 6180 points for 45 WU @ 137.33 PPU but the last 3am period shows 440 points for 40 WU @ 11 PPU. Is there something changed? Just curious more than anything. Thanks again!!!

The 12AM EOC update was back credit for the previous 4 days or so, while they were down, the 3AM update is the normal 12AM-3AM update. At least that is my interpretation of the numbers.

What I have seen, so far for the past 3 updates:
12a - 6180 points - 45 WU - 137.33 PPU
3a - 440 points - 40 WU - 11 PPU
6a - 396 points - 36 WU - 11 PPU

So, can I guess that I am getting 11 points per unit I complete of the Chrome folding?

Yes, you are receiving 11 points per WU and your % is getting close to 80 ... should be back in bonus territory later today if all goes well.

FYI - re chrome NaCl folding

You should be using the beta version of Chrome as the released version is not removing some files properly and can cause freeze-ups. A daily restart of Chrome does help somewhat but there are still .tmp files building up in %TEMP% which can eventually fill up your disc.
There is a bug in the beta version that the Chrome project is aware of and it can cause NaCl to stop processing after each WU if the Chrome window is minimized or the folding tab is not in focus. Basically, just leave the Chrome window on your desktop with the folding tab in view. You can cover the Chrome window with any other software and that does not cause the problem.

I just installed the beta. I had not noticed before any issues other than this over and over:

DEBUG: Can not set thread affinities on the current platform. On NUMA systems this main.js:72
DEBUG: can cause performance degradation. If you think your platform should support
setting affinities, contact the GROMACS developers.

The issues with the released version do take a few days to show up depending on how quickly you're processing the work units so you may not have reached that point. You probably will see a number of .tmp files in %TEMP% that you can delete after closing Chrome since some will be in use when it's running.

I believe everyone is seeing that message in the debug console but it doesn't appear to be causing a problem for folding.
