PGP errors

Post by rsorb61 »

I've got a freshly installed Fedora 29 system with the KDE desktop. I've been trying to install "fahclient-7.5.1-1.x86_64.rpm" but each time I try it I end up getting a message saying "Bad GPG signature found". I've re-downloaded the installer several times but continue to get the error.

Thanks

What GPU do you have? Which version of the manufacturer's drivers are installed?

Is OpenCL installed on that system?

(Post the log per the instructions linked below.)

Too bad, if the error was "Bad PGP signature found" it would indicate a bad download. Are you sure you got the error right?

PGP is Pretty Good Privacy. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pretty_Go ... signatures

D'oh!! Sorry about the twiddled letters... can't spell and can't type either. :)
It's strange... Just last week I installed the same version FAH on another Fedora 29 machine that was only been running for a couple of weeks and it installed and runs fine.
I've not had a bunch of time to get into it, perhaps I'll figure something out this weekend when I've got some free time to burn.
Thanks for the ideas bruce and the spell check JimboPalmer
