FAH now recognizes the card. Thank you!

I am curious why it's not producing the PPD I was expecting. I have a GTX 1650 NON-Super in another rig that does around 260,000 PPD but the Super is only doing around 52,000 PPD. I'm curious if it's because it's new or my setup. Any thoughts? Thank you again.

Most common cause we have seen over the years is forgetting to enter a passkey into the client.

Another cause would be if you just added this card to a system that used to fold with another GPU. If your folding client had previously worked on the project, the initial estimates will be based on prior history stored in a database used by the client.

This rig is setup like a Bit Coin mining rig but I only run FAH on it. I did swap the GTX 1650 Super in place of a GTX 950. As for the history can I delete that or just give it time? Thank you

I am not certain which file the client keeps that history in. Removing all data on a reinstall would take care of the problem, bu easier to just give it time. Once the client has done a few percent the estimates should be more accurate and reflect the changed GPU.

I've been eyeing the 1650 Super, would like to know what your PPD is with it now that it's had time to settle in.

I would guestimate around 700k, since it should be slower than the 1660.

I picked up a 1650 Super after asking about it. It's ppd is in the 350-440k range depending on project and OS. It seems to be reasonable given the price, but 700k is much higher than the actual results.

I’m new to folding, but started after watching an LTT video about it. I started with my mid-level gamer PC with a Ryzen 5 3600 and GTX 1650S. My average is over 400K PPD, with a peak of 465K. These are real world numbers aggregated over 24 hours. I think the theoretical maximum is over 550K, but it spends a fair amount of time getting a new work unit. I just upgraded to a 1660S and it’s pushing close to 700K.
