In systray by your computer clock, there should be Fahcontrol icon. Right click on that, select Advanced Control. When window opens, click on Configure and see what you want to change. If you have anything in particular to change or set up and are not sure, don't hesitate to ask :)

I'm not certain without knowing more about your system or seeing the log, but the servers are flooded right now due to the 20x increase in the number of F@h users over the past month, which has caused workunits to be consumed faster than they can be generated. The research teams can see this in their server statistics and are trying to get more coronavirus projects into the queue to keep up with demand. I suspect that your log will show "No WUs available for this configuration" because the queue is empty at that moment, and that's why it isn't actively running. Keep everything online and it should pick up workunits as soon as they are available.
F@h is now the top computing platform on the planet and nothing unites people like a dedicated fight against a common enemy. This virus affects all of us. Lets end it together.

Ok thx. Got another problem last days-
i have an 3700x with h150pro aio and 1080 gpu. under prime95 stress test along all 16threads the cpu goes up to 60°C. under f@h there are T peaks between 70 and 80 deg. is this sensor failure or is there actually sth wrong bc thats way higher then the stress test
edit: u were right looked up the logs. should have done this before, sorry for that. but maybe u know sth about the heat problem. thats definetly not a hardwareproblem

Prime95 has never been representative of real world loads. We always said to overclockers that being stable for Prime95 never meant to be stable for FAH.

Some other stress test programs are sometimes more representative ...

Yeah for stability ok,but temeprature is prime a really good programm, did cinebench blender and some programms like core damage and so on, nothing above 65°C

when i setup cpu fans to amx and the pump the temp. is still this high so i guess its a software bug, pc want to shutdown so I cant run the programm at the moment

Unless you set Prime95 to use AVX, you are not going to stress it fully.
Folding@home uses AVX256. That means, your CPU is being used to the maximum, which is fantastic from one side.
80C is perfectly fine for 3000 series CPUs.

Ok this doesnt help me at all
1) double the rpm of the fans and the pump doesnt have any effect
2) F@H isnt the only programm stressing out 16 threads to the max.

I guess i just stop using it then

You can restrict the number of threads used by Folding, for example to 12 threads - Advanced Control -> Configure -> Slots -> click cpu then Edit, read the descriptions, enter the number of threads you want to use, OK, Save. That should do the trick.

1) as ajm suggested reduce usable thread count to even 8. Or set the slider to Medium/idle
2) it's not what other programs can use, it's how they use all your resources. Folding@home is designed to use every possible instruction within CPU to maximise scientific output and speedup simulations. If folding@home was coded as half arsed as the rest of the programs, scientific community would be only half way where we are today.
