trying to install Tesla K40m

It seems that a lot of GPU problems revolve around specific versions of drivers. Though NVidia has their own support structure, you can often learn from information reported by others who fold.

trying to install Tesla K40m

Post by scm2000 »

I'm trying to install an NVIDIA Tesla K40m.. Using the driver I downloaded from NVIDIA.. I get the following message in windows device manager:
This device cannot start. (Code 10)

Insufficient system resources exist to complete the API.

I found advice for that code that I need to allow IRQ to VGA for the device in the bios.. but I have no option to do that in the bios.
My motherboard is:
H110 Pro BTC+

My os is
Windows 10 Pro

Windows suggests a new device driver than I got from NVIDIA's site, but that one gives the same message too.

Please post segments of FAH's log. We need the first couple pages of the log where FAH detects the hardware and sets it up plus segments showing the errors. What messages are you getting when it crashes and what WUs were active?

I got the driver to work.

I was using sata power on the pci riser... I switched to a 6pin power plug and now the driver is happy
