Missing Core 22 v0.0.5

Post by Nuitari »

The project 13401 has been put to advanced (as per viewtopic.php?f=24&t=34743) , however the core doesn't seem to be available.

I do have the advanced flag set (and keeping an eye out for anomalies). It was my understanding that advanced is somewhere between beta and public.

This was my fault! I missed a step in the core release process and neglected to roll it out to ADVANCED as well. I've halted 13400 and 13401, and am working to get 0.0.5 deployed to ADVANCED.

So what are we supposed to do? Just wait until a fix has been deployed to advanced? Or is there some way we can discard the WU and retrieve a new one?

Welcome to the F@H Forum skeelo58,

EDIT: There's a better solution posted by bruce below. If that doesn't work, then please read on...

You can look at what the Work ID Queue is and then close the client, delete the folder from the working directory and then start up your client again. Not sure what OS you have but the default working directories are:
Windows: %AppData%\FAHClient\work
Linux: /var/lib/fahclient/work
macOS: /Library/Application Support/FAHClient/work

If you need further assistance, please provide your log file. Guidance is available here: viewtopic.php?f=24&t=26036

A better solution is to PAUSE the WU, wait a bit, then set it back to FOLD.
