Progress bar restarts to zero?

After several days of folding, progress bar of GPU restarts to 0. Is this normal? I do not fold continuously, so I just do it for several hours a day, and I don't join any team. Is there time limit of each project or something?

Also, the name of the project under GPU bar keeps changing. There are three project numbers that my computer is working on because of it (only one shows at a time, but the next time it starts, it might show a different project), and none of them has ever been completed.

Is there anything wrong with the way I'm doing it?

Yes, there are time limits for each work unit. It does look like you are having an issue, though.

This is how it looks. IT's 0% although GPU bar has been 40% yesterday

Two things might be happening.

First, the good news.
You are assigned a Work Unit (WU) to be processed. It has two types of deadlines, a Preferred Deadline (aka Timeout) and a Final Deadline. If you have a fast system and you run 24x7 you shouldn't have to worry about the deadlines. If you have a slow system and you stop folding overnight, you need to pay attention to them.
In either case, when you finish a WU, the client will automatically return the result to the server and request a new assignment. The title and numbers associated with the WU will change accordingly.

Now the potentially bad news.
There's a known shutdown bug in one or more of the FAHCores. Even if you do a normal Windows shutdown, the checkpoint file may be corrupted and when you restart, you'll be forced to get a new assignment. The (temporary) work-around is do a PAUSE before you do a shutdown.

To be honest, I don't mind even if there is no recorded value to my activity, as long as I'm helpful somewhat, as even my smartphone fold@home does not have username.

But it would be a shame if the work is discarded because the time is up.

If it is the case, is there any possibility to pick the smaller work that my computer can handle instead of getting randomly assigned? As you probably already guessed, I'm unfamiliar with coding world. I can open cmd to show hidden files, but that's the most I can do.

There is a core transfer problem, that I don't know of, and I'll have to pass here. But concerning the work-around indicated above by Bruce, that is, to "do a PAUSE before you do a shutdown", you can do that in the taskbar, on the right side, by clicking the ^, then the Advanced Control icon, and chose Pause in the contextual menu that will then open:



It will pause all WUs.

Considering your system and the fact that you only fold few hours a day, this is what I would suggest that you do:
1) Remove the GPU Slot
2) Change the Folding power slider to full
That way, you will only be folding on your CPU and it will hopefully be able to meet the Timeout deadline.

To remove the GPU Slot, open up Advanced Control (AKA FAHControl) -> Configure -> Slots tab -> Select GPU slot -> Click Remove -> Save

As PantherX suggested, best bet is to delete GPU slot altogether. This APU is of ancient design, and I don't know what AMD were thinking releasing it in 2018 again. It would not make deadlines for the most part even if it was folding 24/7, let alone couple of hours a day.

If you want to play with the GPU, get a much more recent driver the version should be over 3000 in this line

The processing power of the Radeon R3 IGP in that APU is just too low for current GPU projects, about 175 GFLOPS of FP32. Even running 24 hours a day it is not likely to finish on time. It was released as part of the A4-9125 APU 4 years ago, but the IGP technology is based on GCN 3 which is a year or two older.
