Usually just a restart of FAHClient or a reboot of a system will clear this kind of download stall. Should not need to remove the slot.

Sure.
But removing and reactivating the slot is much faster - for me ...

you may find using a tool such as tcpview (if windows - sure linux will have an equivalent) to kill the probably stalled established connection even quicker ... one click to start the programme and one click to kill the connection ... I have used this on a number of issues that all seem to group as "hanging connection" ... on killing the connection the slot just retries and in many cases then reconnects and completes properly with no work lost (if upload) ... may not be relevant to your scenario but mention in case it is.

In linux tcpview is a viewer only, not a killer :lol:
