Poor performance on WU 13416

Post by LazyDev »

I'm not sure why, but the performance on the work unit seems to be all over the place. Take, for example, my RTX 2070. It's only managing 751K PPD, when this card is capable of doing well over 1.5M PPD.

Example:
RTX 2070 (only using 60% of my GPU)
https://prnt.sc/thfxg5
Compared to WU 11748
https://prnt.sc/thfyl7

GTX 1070
https://prnt.sc/thfwl3

Wondering if there is an explanation to how/why this work unit's performance is all over the place, and is not consistent?

There are a good few threads discussing this ... tldr: these are urgent experimental projects that are using new approaches and are being adjusted/tuned/tested on the fly (or there abouts)
