Has this been tested on simple web browsers

Has this been tested on simple web browser like epiphany?

https://wiki.gnome.org/Apps/Web

I was just wondering if the new client relied on advanced browser functionality or if it would work with a simple one.

Epiphany works much better on a machine like a Raspberry Pi.

If it uses WebKit, the answer is probably no.

Your browser needs to support modern JavaScript.

It also needs to allow insecure connections to localhost from an https page.
Safari doesn’t allow this, and is WebKit.

You need at least a Raspberry Pi 4 to complete work in time. Maybe a 4B. The Pi 400 is probably good.

I am using epiphany currently on Raspberry Pi now. It supports the v7 client just fine (include not having a secure connection). It must support some form of Javascript--I just don't know what version. Which is why I asked if it was tested. :D

I am not aware of it being tested.

I know there are a few people using a RPi. Maybe one of them will chime in.
