Note: If almost all WUs are failing on you then you should check for hardware problems.

Yes this is a very "WOW" WU

The amount of point is related to the time to complete it : 20 hours on my Q6600 :o (rather than less than 10 hours for p305x ).

Glad I checked in on this thread - I thought my Linux boxes had gone haywire as they were taking longer than usual to chew on a WU - turns out all four of the SMP's are chewing on these 3060's -It's Christmas

It appears that the p3060 has greater memory requirements...I noticed one of my quads(with fresh Lenny netinst) had TPF's of over 18 min.s compared to identical machine(except for RAM) that folds the p3060 right at 12 min.s TPF. The difference between the machines was the RAM(1024 for the 18 min TPF, 2048 for the 12 min. machine). Newegg will be shipping a remedy for the discrepancy, shortly.

Did you notice if you were swapping on your 1 GB machine :?:

Ah, good point; I'll check that when I get off work.

Hmmm, no swapping at all, I may have to go in a different direction on this. Both machines are absolutely identical except for the amount of RAM.
