Project: 3040 (Run 3, Clone 271, Gen 39) error 0x0

Post by lammert »

Project: 3040 (Run 3, Clone 271, Gen 39) stops at 52% with the following error:

Code: Select all

[22:40:10] Completed 2600000 out of 5000000 steps (52%)
Warning: 1-4 interaction at distance larger than 1.96
These are ignored for the rest of the simulation
turn on -debug for more information
[23:07:35] CoreStatus = 0 (0)
[23:07:35] Client-core communications error: ERROR 0x0
[23:07:35] Deleting current work unit & continuing...
[23:07:52] - Preparing to get new work unit...
I have read the sticky post about 0x0 and 0x1 errors: restarting the core on another computer just before the crash happens, but it is my opinion that someone from Stanford should do the debugging of a faulty work unit, not a donor. I can let it run just before the 52% and send the work directory contents to someone if needed. Which files do you need to analyze this error?

Hello lammert, welcome to the forum.

Simply reporting a bad WU is sufficient. The Staff can do whatever else needs to be done from here. Thanks.

Thanks for the response.

I have stopped the rerun and deleted the errornous WU from the queue to make the processor free for another workunit.
