Output up -more than double

No mention on the topics of increased throughput since the collection servers got new code recently.
My results have been so much better this last week or so with more than double the normal points going in.
This effect seems to be shown with others near me in the team too- so it looks like a positive result for all the re- work that went in on the severs recently.
Maybe it's too soon for comment in general but this seems to be a remarkable increase for me and a few others.

I saw a slight increase in my points too. I have a feeling it's probably the p3798's, the 250-points CPU-client WUs, possibly used to test the servers, that gave me 2000+ PPD, which is higher than the SMP WUs I get.

new08, I hope that's not because you and your team have been running uncertified drivers, and if it's purely a server side issue which got resolved then thumbs up from me

Dange I got those to, but only a few, they showed 2.5k ppd on a 3g q6600 ( per core, but I never got lucky enough to score 4 at the same time :twistedevil: ). And not only that, looking at the avg ppd, smp would certainly have given me more points I think. Or do you get them back to back?

MtM- I dont have my 'own' team but I watch those near me in the one I do support to see if they're getting the same results as me- looking at the ppd and WU scores.
About six in the same area on the list have all got similar boosts. I did have my first 700+ unit go in yesterday OK![normally 300 max]
It could easily have gone down the drain before !
I did wonder if someone has analysed my results and bunged a few sponduliks my way to compensate for a load of hassle though
I was actually losing over half my results these last few months and therefore assumed that the server issue had solved most problems.
I did have a recent EUE of 7 points though..just to keep my feet on the ground...

They been doing allot of work on those servers, I'm glad to hear it's seems to pay of

I haven't had a client stuck for work as well the past time, atleast not unless I forgot to unblock them from the firewall

edit: how can you loose half of your results? That much backlog and then passing deadlines is sad

I think I was in a bad spot with running win98 on my main, which I still am as I've got a failed upgrade to XP hanging there- and I just can't get to reformat, ya know? This means there are a few issues with clients limiting to old and then these are not supported quite so well,if at all now with the push being for Ver5 and later clients, rightly -on functionality.
Add the fact that as Win98 doesn't network without a card and then I plug in XP laptops- that causes more glitches on a bad day.
Now !- add in the server issue and kerpow...I'm down.
But I like a challenge-I'm male!Nuts too probably
I must admit the deadline thing being so 'in your face' was a bit harder to swallow- but then time is an illusion....
