Failed to get assignment - No WUs available [Fixed]

Since some hours I do not get any assignment work units for gtx 1080 ti anymore from servers 171.67.108.45:80 and 171.64.65.35:80

Same here! 6 slots stuck this morning.
After a few pauses and restarts I did eventually get some WUs from other servers

Me three. Identical error. All GPU affected, some have been stuck briefly and then got lucky, one is currently stuck and retrying endlessly.

Maybe we've folded the last protein
BTW, nothing for 1070, 1080 or 1080 Ti so I doubt configuration is keyword here. I think the assignment servers are down.
I also tried the different causes.

If you are on Linux put this in a file and execute it. It's working for me so far. Sometimes it takes a few loops before success.

Your script: If no work unit you pause a slot wait 10 sec and resume again. Then wait half a minute and if no work unit repeat from begin again.
Trying that manually but no success until now...
Typically no one is there at Stanford on Sunday to repair the servers. So it will be fixed on Monday hopefully.

Based on my five slots, they've all had the problem but impact has mostly been around five minutes of lost folding at the end of each unit so my advice is to just leave them alone. Of course, YMMV.

It's worked three times for me so far. It had to loop 6, 5, and 4 times, respectively. Keep trying. The pause/fold cycle should eventually work for you.

I've had as many as three out of five slots down at the same time from this. They didn't restart until I paused them.

In FAHControl I pause individual slots and then fold one at a time and eventually I get a WU.
