No getting Passkey - Create a new Team - Not availabe WUs

Hello F@H!
Thnak you for the work you are doing to expand the servers.
I'd like to create a Team of Italian guys crunching datas for research.
"Italia VS Corona Virus"
What I'm supposed to do to create it?

I asked for a passkey, but i didn't receive any email. I tried with different email addresses. Didn't find anything in SPAM too.

My PC with dual GT 630 can't get WUs. I attach the logs for info

I have same problem, I click create team, I get "ERROR: Team creation failed".
I hope I am trying correctly. I'm picking a team number high enough that no matching team exists, is that right?
It must be a very busy server though, is a shame because my colleagues want to join.
Let me know if it starts working please?

If the client recognizes your GPU, then it is probably that the servers with GPU work are swamped. Eventually you should get an assignment.

Had my machine connected for a day and so far still and still no work assignments :(

I removed the second GT 630 and it started working.
I found an old Radeon 4670 with primordial OpenCL support, I installed it but the client doesn't recognize it...such a shame.
Is it possible to use an older version of the client taht could be compatible? Or is incompatible at all?

A radeon 4670 is too old, and as best as I can recall has not been usable since they moved to using OpenCL for GPU folding many years ago. The available support for OpenCL on the 4000 series cards was insufficient.

The oldest Radeon cards that can be used are the 5800 cards, the rest of the 5000 series do not support use of double precision calculations. The 6900 series cards can be used, same problem with the rest of the 6000 series Radeons.

For a quick check try the lists of cards on Wikipedia - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_A ... sing_units & https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_N ... sing_units. Usable cards need to support OpenCL 1.2 at a minimum and have support for double precision.

@jjtechservices - The servers are currently serving out as much work as they can. So there will be waits at times, and it depends what work is available at the time your client connects. They are working on getting more servers ready, but the response was much higher than expected. Current rates of assignment are about 8x what they were a week ago, but the total number of requests is even higher.

I reconnected the second GT 630 and having a little patience I finally got a second WU. Right now I hawe both GPUs working.
I'm happy about it!

I was unable to get the pass key as well, seems emails from FAH systems never get out -- not sure why. Can't even get password reset emails from this forum. I assume the mail relay configuration for their environment must be borked.

So many passkey emails were sent out that Google and Yahoo (and perhaps other domains) classified FAH as a spammer and their bots intercepted our replies.

I understand the passkey problem has been solved, though that's not a guarantee it has been resolved on all domains.

How are the emails being sent out? Directly from one server? Through a mail relay? What's the DMARC/DKIM/SPF setup look like? It's understandable that the emails being sent directly from a lone SMTP server would have serious mail delivery issues (I'm still not even receiving the emails to my spam folder, just tried -- Office 365), especially if no care has been given to a DMARC/DKIM/SPF setup.

These are simple things to solve, something I can help with?

The method of sending them out was changed early this week and I no longer know the answer. Then we tried to unclog the messages that had already been intercepted. (Too much time spent in the process.)

:roll: The problem never came up when before we were overrun with so many people trying to help. :!:
