Got the 5.5.14 Kernel working.

Had to:
  • uninstall the amd drivers
    install new kernel
    reboot
    install amd drivers with --no-dkms option
    reboot
Folding picked up the current WUs that were in progress and resumed them
No noticeable differences in production :(

I don't regret getting the 5700XTs and I hope what I've discovered will be useful to others but as it stands Navi is just not as efficient as Turing under Folding at home and the 2060 Super will out produce it at a similar price point.

Hi,

got my RX 5700 XT also running now with Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS

My observed performance for the RX 5700 XT is 1200 PPD :-).
