So many replies, thanks.

Now three more of the WU's have completed. I will go to the advanced settings and delete those three slots. How do I best select what to do with the folding slots? I thought I should set up one slot for each of the six cores and leave each at -1 but I could use advice to maximize my output.
My processor is an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz, 3696 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s)

Set one CPU slot for 9 CPU threads (so remove -1 and enter 9) and then set the other CPU slot for 2 CPU Threads (remove -1 and enter 2) or use the up down arrows ... then ok and save.

The QRB rewards quick returns so having one slot as large as you can (without hitting less good core counts - hence 9 not 11 or 10) will do the best for science and points ... the 2nd slot simply puts the remaining 2 cores to use.

If you were not running A GPU slot you would go for a single slot of 12 which is a good number ... but the GPU slot should provide a better PPD than you will lose by having a core set aside to manage it.

You can either delete each CPU slot until they are all gone and create two new ones ... or just delete the excess CPU slots and edit the last two to the values above.

Thanks so much, I think everything is where it needs to be now. Probably like most all of us, I want to do as much help with research on Covid, and whatever helps to get this information done and back to the scientists, I want to do.

I finally understand the numbers I was seeing in the print on my first photo, it's the number of threads "processors" that is being used on a particular WU. When I set the one slot for "9", that is the number reflected on the web control "CPU". Now I get it.

Cheers!
