Hi,

I don't know if it's sudden or not, but it seems like 206.223.170.146:8080 is having issues sending new work units since earlier today. It takes between 10-30 minutes to download a single work unit (22.05MB) while it used to take a few seconds to a minute at worst. That's if the download doesn't outright fail and has to start over; When it starts over, even if it downloads from the same server, download seems to be usually quicker (5 seconds or so), but that's not always the case. I had one PC downloading for 2 hours now, and it keeps restarting the download every 10-15 minutes or so.

My Internet connection is fine, speed is fine for everything else. I restarted my router, my modem and my PCs to no avail. Nothing is "sucking" my Internet speed, so I guess it's down to the server or something in-between.

The other work servers (e.g. 129.32.209.202:8080) seem to do just fine and send me new work units in seconds.

I just had an issue with this same server earlier today. It downloaded 0.28% of a new work unit then nothing for hours.

There was no error in the log until I shut down the client in attempt to get things going again. Restarting the client wouldn't get it to budge, and the client would hang on the loading "Updating" mode status. A second shutdown followed by system restart had everything back up and running as usual.

Thanks all for the reports! I just took a peek at the server and am not seeing anything strange happening on our end. I issued a restart to the server with the hopes that resolves things and will keep an eye on this thread over the next few days.

Thanks for taking a look at it. I only had the one instance take place, and others had normal function on that server.

Thanks! Everything seems fine now. I don't always look, but it doesn't seem like I had any download issue in the last two days.

Have a nice day!
