I installed the latest nvidia drivers for a Geforce RTX 2060 and Folding at home no longer fold on the GPU

It seems that a lot of GPU problems revolve around specific versions of drivers. Though NVidia has their own support structure, you can often learn from information reported by others who fold.

I always use the Nvidia drivers from their website, assuming you have Windows
