I recently discovered one of my folding machines has been having problems with CPU work units. With the version 7 software, it would restart the work unit from the last checkpoint & eventually complete it, but with the v8 software it just gives up & dumps the WU as soon as there's a problem.
Maybe this is intentional behavior for the beta because you want to see all the errors, but if not it seems like the v7 approach was more robust. I haven't checked all the logs yet but it appears I've been dumping most of the CPU work units on this machine since switching it to v8.
