Thanks Endrik, I have played with the config. Tried kasson's _alt version, nothing. These are production machines and so we do not want to run the whosyourdaddy solution. It was hard enough to agree to FAH as external software.

The best thing for me is a new fah6 client which has the proper libs for a fedora 12. Then I can dump the classic for good.

There's no work lost for now. :D

New work is all ready finish and send in.

By trying to send in slot 7 again it seems to blocking receiving new work.
For now I shall do nothing to see if everything is solving automaticly

The moderators can correct me, but if you're worried about losing a completed WU b/c it gets over written, my understanding is that the program knows to skip occupied slots.

Guessing this is because 171.64.65.111 is in reject right now.

171.64.65.111:8080 still doesn't load in a browser, looks like it's been ~2 days since this client has connected...

Looks like I was a bad prophet and the stress mentioned several posts above was too much to absorb. All we need is just a little bit more patience :)

Re: Can't connect 171.67.108.17 and 171.64.65.111

Well I'm in the same predictment now lol. 2 WU's finish(which 1 has been waiting for a couple of days) and can't send too 171.64.65.111 and couldn't get any work for a while. I just got a WU a couple mins ago.

Any info on the status of the servers? I've been checking the news page but it hasn't been updated yet.

According to server status page 171.64.65.111 is not accepting in standby mode but 171.67.108.17 is working
With me it just says,

"The webpage cannot be displayed

Most likely caused:
Some content or files on this webpage require a program that you don't have installed."

I think it will only override a slot if there are no slots free and it will most likely override the oldest WU first.

Which server did you get an assignment from? 171.67.108.17 is a collection server, so it shouldn't have any WUs to distribute and as far as I know, 171.64.65.111 has not yet been repaired.

Did you read and follow the instructions here? Subject: Do this first

That's because somebody is working hard to correct whatever is wrong and the only thing anybody can tell you is that it will be fixed whenever they finish.

That's exactly what you would expect when the Connection Status is "Reject"
